Long Tan Named to USL Team of the Week for Third Time

PEORIA, Ariz. - The United Soccer League announced today that Arizona United Soccer Club forward Long Tan has been named to the USL Team of the Week. Tan received the honors after scoring a goal and notching an assist in Arizona United SC's 3-0 win over Real Monarchs SLC.
This is the third time this season Tan has been named to the USL Team of the Week. In Week 15, Tan received the honors following his two-goal performance against Tulsa Roughnecks FC. He made the team in Week 13 for his game-winning goal against Saint Louis FC.
This is the sixth time an Arizona United player has been named to the Team of the Week in 2016. In addition to Tan's three appearances, defender Daniel Antunez was named to the team for Week 16; Tyler Blackwood received Team-of-the-Week honors in Week 14; and midfielder Luke Rooney was named to the Team of the Week in Week 4. Midfielder Sam Garza was an honorable mention in Week 6.
Arizona United takes on Tulsa Roughnecks FC this Saturday, July 30, at the Peoria Sports Complex. Kickoff will be at 7:30 P.M. and fans can purchase their tickets at www.arizonaunited.com.
