All-Star Closer Isaacs Promoted to Dunedin

LANSING, Mich. - In conjunction with the Toronto Blue Jays, the Lansing Lugnuts announce that All-Star closer Dusty Isaacs has been promoted to A-Advanced Dunedin, with his place taken on the roster by the activation of infielder/coach Alex Maldonado from the 7-day Disabled List.
Isaacs, 24, was tied for the Midwest League lead with 27 appearances and led the league with 12 saves and 24 games finished. A former Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket, he was 1-4 record with a 2.87 ERA in 31 1/3 innings with the Lugnuts, striking out an impressive 37 batters compared to just six walks.
The Lugnuts' roster is attached, consisting of the maximum 25 active players with five players on the Disabled List.
