Due to an expected capacity crowd, all fans are advised to arrive to StubHub Center early. The Galaxy have played at home on July 4 every year since the club's founding in 1996; it is the longest streak of home games played on the Fourth of July holiday in all professional sports. The Galaxy's postgame firework show has become a premier Fourth of July destination in Los Angeles; CBS Los Angeles and Go Los Angeles both dubbed the show as one of the best in LA.
The fireworks show will start 10 minutes after the final whistle. For fans in attendance, there will be a test launch at halftime for fans to make sure they'll have a good viewpoint of the postgame festivities.
With a capacity crowd in attendance, tickets for the stadium's berm seating have been made available. StubHub Center Parking Gates A & D will open at 12 p.m. PT with all additional parking gates set to open at 3:30 p.m. PT and tailgating is allowed. StubHub Center stadium gates will open at 6 p.m. PT.
Fans are also encouraged to take Uber to StubHub Center for Monday's Fourth of July clash. New users can receive a discount by registering through the LA Galaxy at www.get.uber.com/go/lagalaxy16. Fans can use the Uber pick up/drop off zone located at the top of Gate A off of Avalon Blvd.
For fans entering the stadium, StubHub Center will continue to implement the standard Bag Policy in line with security measures taken by the other professional sports leagues in North America. All bags will be subject to search upon entry. For a full list of restricted bags, visit here.
During warm-ups before LA's match against the Vancouver Whitecaps, Galaxy players will be sporting special patriotic jerseys featuring a blue and red sash across the front.
