Round 13, Pick 295

In the 13th round of this year's NAHL Draft, the Magicians selected forward Tommy Altounian of Team Illinois of the High Performance Hockey League (HPHL).

Altounian is a native of Lake Forest, Illinois, where he has played his bantam and midget hockey. In 2014-2015 he was a member of the Chicago Mission U16 team, where he played in 26 games and registered 5 goals and 11 assists for a total of 16 points. Last season, he played for the Team Illinois U16 and notched 2 goals and 11 assists for a total of 13 points in 19 games played.

Altounian and other Magicians prospects will compete for spots on the initial Magicians roster at the team's upcoming Main Camp in late July at Richfield Ice Arena. The Magicians host their home opener on Friday September 16th against the Springfield Jr. Blues at Richfield Ice Arena.
