Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The IronPigs (45-34) play the finale of a three-game series against the first-place Columbus Clippers (42-37) at Coca-Cola Park... With a 1-0 loss last night, the Pigs have dropped back-to-back affairs for the first time since June 8-9 (a span of 18 games) and have started 0-2 on this seven-game homestand. Still, the Pigs have won 11 of their last 16 contests and are 30-17 since May 12... The Clippers -- Cleveland's top affiliate -- have won five of their last seven contests after a 2-10 span that included a season-high, seven-game losing streak from June 9-16... The Clippers took the series at Huntington Park over the Pigs, 3-1, from May 9-12.
RHP David Buchanan (4-4, 4.54) will start for LHV against RHP Mike Clevinger (6-0, 2.48).
