In the 12th round of this year's NAHL Draft, the Magicians selected goaltender Josh Mayanja of the Boston Advantage U18 team of the Tier I Elite Hockey League (T1EHL).
Mayanja has played the last two seasons with Boston Advantage, playing in 47 games over that span. In 2014-15, he had a Goals Against Average (GAA) of 3.79 and a Save Percentage (SV%) of .894. Last season, in 25 games played, he improved his numbers to a 2.98 GAA and a .913 SV %. Mayanja will compete for immediate playing time this season.
