June 28, 2016 - United Soccer League Championship (USL)
San Antonio FC News Release

SAN ANTONIO - San Antonio FC forward Jacques Francois has been named to the USL Team of the Week for his performance against OC Blues FC on June 23, the USL announced this afternoon. Francois played 90 minutes and recorded two assists against the Blues, leading his team to a 3-2 victory.

Francois' neat footwork and pass led to the opening goal of the match courtesy of a Michael Reed finish, and his barraging run and cross from the left-hand side led to a tap-in by SAFC forward Franck Tayou for the equalizing goal in the second half.

Francois has appeared in five USL matches this season after joining the club in May following his senior year at UNC Greensboro. The Haitian rookie has recorded two league assists in 256 total minutes played. Francois has also made his mark in the 2016 U.S. Open Cup, scoring three goals and recording an assist in just three matches (225 minutes).
