Bulldogs Select Studenic 11th Overall

HAMILTON, ONTARIO - The Hamilton Bulldogs announce they have selected Marian Studenic with the 11th overall pick in the 2016 CHL Import Draft.

Studenic, 17, spent last season playing for Skalica in the Slovakian men's league. The 6'0", 175 pound forward posted eight goals and eight assists in 35 games.

Bulldogs President and General Manager Steve Staios says, "Marian is a highly skilled forward with good speed and a high work ethic." He adds, "We want to welcome Marian to the Bulldogs family and look forward to watching him grow and develop along with the rest of our team."

Studenic also represented Slovakia at the 2016 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament where he collected one goal and one assist in four games.
