Kenosha, Wis. - The Kingfish (13-15) put on an offense clinic tonight, and defeated the Growlers 7-1. The victory now extends the Kingfish win streak to a season high 4 games.

Cole Erickson took the mound for the Kingfish and delivered a statement performance. The sophomore from UW-Stevens Point threw a 7-inning gem. He allowed just 3 hits, 1 walk, 0 runs, and punched out 8. Ty Harris, the lone reliever, pitched the game's final 2 innings and allowed one mere run.

The Kingfish offense got off to a hot start and never looked back. The Kingfish struck for 3 runs in the 2nd inning, and proceeded to tack on from there. By the time the 6th inning concluded, the Kingfish held a 6-0 lead. Marty Bechina provided the game's biggest offensive highlight with a solo home run in the 5th.

J.D. Hearn went 3 for 4 at the plate and paced the Kingfish lineup. Mason Fishback led the team with 3 RBI on a 2 for 4 outing, which included an RBI double. Dylan Rosa and Nick Kanavas contributed 2 for 4 evenings as well.

The Kingfish host Kalamazoo again tomorrow night at 7:05 CT and then will have their first day off on Wednesday.
