Prince Albert Raiders News Release
Prince Albert, SK - The Prince Albert Raiders would like to congratulate forward Luke Coleman and Reid Gardiner on being invited to NHL development camps.
Coleman was invited to the Detroit Red Wings Development Camp, running from July 6 to 10 in Traverse City, Mich.
"It's always good to go to a good, established team like that that's had a lot of success in the past 20 or so years, so I'm really excited to there," Coleman said.
He added, "I'm excited to get my first shot at an NHL camp."
In his first full season with the Raiders, Coleman notched 13 goals and 16 assists in 70 games. The Red Deer, AB product added a goal and two assists in the 2016 WHL Playoffs.
"Luke is a big, strong, pro-style winger," said Raiders Director of Player Personnel Ron Gunville. "His game has improved greatly in the past 18 months. He should be a player who gets better each season and be a physical force."
