Flames Acquire Alex Chiasson from Ottawa

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Flames announced today that they have acquired right winger Alex Chiasson from the Ottawa Senators in exchange for defenceman Pat Sieloff and have sign Chiasson to a one-year contract.
Chiasson, a native of Montreal, Quebec, played 77 regular season games for Ottawa in 2015-16 picking up seven goals and eight assist for 14 points and 45 penalty minutes. Since being selected by the Dallas Stars in the second round of the 2009 NHL Draft, Chiasson has scored 38 goals and added 44 assists for 82 points and 150 penalty minutes in 239 career NHL games.
