Heat Look to Top Record High Teddy Bear Record on Saturday, January 21st

Stockton, Calif. - The Stockton Heat, proudly owned by the NHL's Calgary Flames, announce that the Heat's second Teddy Bear Toss game will take place on Saturday, January 21, 2017.

Last season, a Stockton hockey record 8,231 bears were collected and donated to children in need, smashing the previous Stockton Hockey Teddy Bear Toss donation record by 2,396 stuffed animals. The team now issues the challenge to both fans and sponsors alike to top last year's donation to the United Way of San Joaquin County.

The Heat have announced five of their six guaranteed dates including Opening Night on Saturday, October 15, Hot Pink 2 beginning Friday, November 4 and carrying over to the following day, and Frankie Bobblehead Night to the first 500 kids 12-years-old and younger on Saturday, December 3. There is one additional guaranteed date that will be announced next week.
