An outstanding effort by David Lemasters carried the Butler BlueSox (14-14) to a 2-0 win over the Chillicothe Paints on Sunday at Kelly Automotive Park.
Lemasters kept the Chillicothe Paints (12-15) off the board during his eight innings of work. Lemasters allowed three hits, one walk and struck out six.
Derek Moore allowed no earned runs, four hits and no walks while striking out three over six innings of work.
Moore ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year.
