Win a Used Car Tonight at Dell Diamond

June 25, 2016 - Pacific Coast League (PCL1)
Round Rock Express News Release

ROUND ROCK, Texas - Fans attending the Round Rock Express game against the Colorado Springs Sky Sox on Saturday, June 25 will have the opportunity to leave with a truly unique parting gift - a used car. In partnership with Nyle Maxwell Family of Dealerships, the Express are set to host the 17th annual Win a Used Car Night.

Since Round Rock's inaugural season in 2000, nearly 80 previously loved rides have found new homes. This year's class of cars includes a 2006 Mercury Montego, courtesy of Nyle Maxwell GMC; a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee from The Original Nyle Maxwell in Taylor; a 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser complements of Nyle Maxwell Supercenter in Austin; and finally a 2001 Land Rover on behalf of Nyle Maxwell's Fiat Alfa Romeo of Austin.

One lucky fan will walk away with the Montego, dubbed as country music star "Alan Jackson's first car," in honor of his hit song "Mercury Blues." The bright red Cherokee will be fit for a firehouse - and have plenty of room for any potential four-legged firehouse friends. Following a failed stint as a tank in the military, another fan will have a chance to take home the battle-tested PT Cruiser. Finally, the jungle-ready Land Rover suitable for Tarzan himself will be given away during the evening.

Fans can enter to win one of the four used cars at the home plate concourse. Gates to Dell Diamond open at 5:30 p.m. for Saturday's 7:05 p.m. first pitch against the Sky Sox. Win a Used Car Night kicks off a 10-game homestand for the Express that runs from Saturday until Sunday, July 3. All Express games are broadcast on the Austin Radio Network and steamed live online at www.hornfm.com.

Single game tickets are available along with season ticket packages and group discounts. For more information on the Express, visit www.RoundRockExpress.com or call (512) 255-2255.
