Buffalo Beauts Co-Coach Craig Muni

Buffalo, NY - Craig Muni, retired three-time NHL Stanley Cup champion, has been named Co-Coach of the Buffalo Beauts for the 2016-17 season, General Manager Ric Seiling announced Saturday.
"Craig and I have coached together before, when our sons played together," said Seiling. "We have history, and his wealth of knowledge from his playing career is something that will be invaluable to the Beauts this season."
Muni played 819 games in the NHL over the course of his career, mainly with the Toronto Maple Leafs, Edmonton Oilers, and Buffalo Sabres. He won three Stanley Cups in 1987, 1988, and 1990, and retired from hockey in 1998. Muni is an active member of the Toronto and Buffalo NHL alumni groups, and previously coached softball with the New Era Diamond Girls.
"I'm hoping to be able to work with the newer, younger players and help them with their development so they have a chance to aspire and achieve their goals, whatever they might be," said Muni. "Whether those are Olympic teams, national teams, or something else, to be able to see those dreams to the end would be great."
General Manager Ric Seiling will also hold the title of Co-Coach of the Beauts for the 2016-17 season.
