Augusta GreenJackets News Release
Augusta, GA - Today's game between the GreenJackets (23-26) and Charleston RiverDogs (30-18) has been postponed due to rain. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader in Charleston, with a date to be determined.
The GreenJackets will start a 3-game road trip at the Kannapolis Intimidators starting Monday, May 30th, with first pitch at 6:05pm. The GreenJackets will be back at Lake Olmstead Stadium, Thursday, June 2nd as they start a 6-game homestand with the West Virginia Power and Columbia Fireflies.
Thursday, at 7:05pm is Thirsty Thursday featuring $1 draft beers and fountain sodas. It's also 80s Night so come on out in your favorite decade's wardrobe! It will also be Augusta Parks & Recreation Night. Friday is Ladies Night, 7:05pm, and it is also Shepeard Community Blood Center Night and Most Improved Student Night. Saturday, June 4th, 6:05pm, is American Family Insurance Saturday Family Night, Boy Scout Night with a sleepover on the field after the game, Guns & Hoses Night featuring a pre-game charity softball game between local firefighters and police taking place at 4:15pm. Myron Noodleman will also make an appearance. Monday, June 6th at 7:05pm against the Fireflies is Feed Your Face Monday - Carnival Night. Tuesday, 7:05pm is Taco Tuesday and Tuesday Brewsday and Wednesday, 7:05pm, is Silver Jackets Night, Baseball Bingo, Strike Out Stroke Night and Veteran Appreciation Night.
