River City Rascals News Release

The Rascals are excited to announce that Miss Missouri 2015, McKensie Garber, will be joining us on Sunday, May 29 as we take on the Normal Cornbelters at 4:05 PM as a part of her tour around the Show Me State.

McKensie began competing in pageants in 2004 after being encouraged by her dance instructor. Prior to being crowned Miss Missouri 2015, McKensie had held titles for Miss Lake of the Ozarks Outstanding Teen 2011, Miss Missouri's Outstanding Teen 2011, and Miss Gateway St. Louis 2015. She took three years off competing in pageants to complete her college education at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

McKensie represented the Show Me State with beauty and grace and while capturing the hearts of the nation during the Miss America pageant. During the talent portion of Miss America, she performed jazz en pointe to "P.Y.T." by Michael Jackson. Since the end of the Miss America pageant this past September, McKensie has been travelling around the state bringing cheer to everyone she meets and educating the state on her platform, CharacterPlus: Inspiring Lives of Integrity Through Education.

Miss Missouri will be signing autographs and taking pictures before throwing out the First Pitch on the 29th. She will also be addressing the crowd and sharing more about her platform. All kids are encouraged to dress up in celebration of this pageant day!

Tickets for this or any of our other upcoming events can be purchased at our website at http://www.rivercityrascals.com/tickets/individual.
