Series: The Bees and Barnstormers have played two extra inning games to start the series, with each team winning one. Lancaster took Tuesday game by a 5-4 score in 10 innings while the Bees walked off with a win in 14 innings last night 9-8.

The Bees: The Bees pounded out 14 hits in last night's game, with Shawn Gilblair picking up his first win of the season. James Skelton appeared at second base in the 13th and 14th innings last night, his first appearance at the position for the Bees. Michael Crouse, the former Barnstormer, has a hit in each game since being acquired by the Bees last Saturday.
The Opposition: After going 48 2/3 innings without a home run, the Barnstormers hit a pair last night with Josh Whitaker and Charlie Cutler each tallying a round tripper. Overall, the Barnstormers had 17 hits on the night against the Bees. Meanwhile, 8 pitchers appeared in last night's game for Lancaster, each going at least one inning.

Key to the Game- Speed Demons: After a four hour and thirty-five minute game last night and extra innings over the last two games, New Britain will turn to one of their fastest-working starters in Brian Dupra in order to limit fatigue.
