Bandits and Snappers Postponed Wednesday

May 25, 2016 - Midwest League (MWL1)
Quad Cities River Bandits News Release

BELOIT, Wisc. -- The Quad Cities River Bandits and Beloit Snappers scheduled game at Pohlman Field Wednesday night has been postponed due to inclement weather. It will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Thursday, with two seven-inning games beginning at 4:30 p.m. CT. Wednesday is the final meetings between the two clubs in Beloit, Wisconsin for the first half. All remaining games are scheduled at Modern Woodmen Park, so if either game were to be postponed tomorrow it would have to be made up in Davenport, Iowa.

The River Bandits will send Makay Nelson (0-0, 3.86) to the mound in game one. He was scheduled to start Tuesday night. Albert Abreu (0-5, 5.35) will start the second game. Beloit has not yet announced their starters. You can hear both games with broadcaster Jake Levy starting with the LLOYD Agencies Pregame Show at 4:15 on 1170 AM K-BOB, riverbandits.com and the TuneIn app.
