Your Cedar Rapids Kernels return to Perfect Game Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium for a short, three game home series against the Kane County Cougars. Here's a preview of what you can expect these next three games:

May 9-11 vs. Kane County

The Kernels return to Perfect Game Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium for a three game home stand against the Kane County Cougars, the Midwest League affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks.

It's our first Mark Down Monday of the season on Monday, May 9th, when the Kernels take on Kane County at 6:35 PM. Fans can get regular hot dogs for $1.50 all game, plus small popcorn, ice cream sandwiches and chips are just $1 each at the concession stands. Gates open at 5:30 PM.

It's a Great Clips Twins Tuesday when the Kernels take on Kane County at 6:35 PM. Look for the link on the Kernels Facebook Page or Email Newsletter for a special coupon that can be redeemed at the Kernels Ticket Office for a buy one ticket, get one FREE offer. The Kernels will wear special jerseys, sponsored by Great Clips, that will be sold via a silent auction at the September 3rd game. And, one lucky fan will win a pair of tickets to a Twins game. Gates open at 5:30 PM.

It's our first noon game of the season when the Kernels take on Kane County on Wednesday, May 11th. Fans can enjoy our Noon Game Combo Special consisting of a regular sandwich (hamburger, cheeseburger, hot dog or brat), chips or popcorn, and a 16 oz. regular draft beer or 20 oz. bottled soda or water for just $8.50 at the main concession stands. The Kernels will also recognize their April Player and Pitcher of the Month before the game. Gates open at 11 AM and first pitch between the Kernels and Cougars is set for high noon.

Perfect Game Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium Daily Specials!

Kids Eat Free Sunday, presented by Western Fraternal Life: Every Sunday home game, all kids 12-under receive a voucher for a FREE hot dog, popcorn and Capri Sun at the Kernels First Base and Home Plate Concession Stands, thanks to Western Fraternal Life. After every Sunday home game, kids (and adults) can run the bases, play catch on the field and get autographs from the Kernels on the field, presented by Jimmy Johns with media sponsor 104.5 KDAT. During the game, play Travel Advisors Baseball Bingo, co-sponsored by the Radisson near Mall of America for a chance to win a trip to Minneapolis and see a Twins game. Enjoy the balloon artistry of Papa Balloon on the concourse during the game as well as Face Painting by Kennedy. Select Sunday games are New Belgium Brewing Bike to the Ballpark games. Fans are encouraged to ride their bikes to the game and park in our secure bike parking area inside the stadium. Fans that ride their bikes to the game are eligible to win prizes from New Belgium Brewing and Fleck Sales.

Mark Down Monday: Get regular hot dogs for just $1.50, plus small popcorn, ice cream sandwiches, and chips are each just $1 every Monday home game.

Twins Tuesday, sponsored by Great Clips: Get an on-line coupon from the Kernels Facebook page or email newsletter for a 2 for 1 ticket offer at Tuesday home games as part of Twins Tuesday, presented by Great Clips. The Kernels will wear special jerseys that will be sold via a silent auction at the game on Saturday, September 3rd, and one lucky fan will win a pair of Minnesota Twins tickets given away at every Tuesday home game.

Flat Screen Thursday, presented by First Federal Credit Union: Every Thursday home Kernels game, fans age 18 and older can register to win one of three 32" flat screen TV's thanks to First Federal Credit Union. It's also Z 102.9 Thirsty Thursday, when 12 oz. regular draft beer, 20 oz. bottled soda and water are just $2.00 all game. Every Thursday home game is also Little Caesars College Night. Show your college ID at the Kernels Ticket Office for a Club ticket and two slices of Little Caesars Pizza for just $8.

98.1 KHAK Kernels Friday Mug Club: Buy a 16 oz. souvenir mug filled with your favorite regular draft beer or soda for just $6.00 and get refills at the Kernels concessions stands for just $3.00. Bring the mug back to every Kernels Friday home game for those $3.00 refills.

Tickets for all Kernel home games are available on-line at www.kernels.com; in person at the Kernels Ticket Office, or by calling 896-7560 during Ticket Office Hours. The Kernels Ticket Office is open from 10 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday and from 10 AM to 2 PM on Saturday. The ticket office is closed on Sunday, but opens at 11 AM on Kernel Sunday Home games.
