Game Preview: Soul Look to Silence the Storm

PHILADELPHIA- The Philadelphia Soul look to win their third home game in a row as they roll into Week 6 of the 2016 season. The Soul (4-1) will host the Tampa Bay Storm (0-4) on Monday, May 9 at 8 p.m. at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA. The game will be broadcast live on Univision Deportes, ESPN3 or the WatchESPN App and 97.5 The Fanatic.

This is the first time that these two teams have faced each other this season. The two team's last meeting was in Week 14 of the 2015 season with the Soul defeating the Storm 64-42. The Soul look to keep their home game win streak alive while the Storm search for their first win of the season.

The first match-up to look for this weekend is between Soul WR Ryan McDaniel and Storm DB Rick-J Hill. McDaniel has tallied 26 receptions for 321 yards and six touchdowns this season. In Week 5 against the KISS, he caught one pass for 13 yards. Hill had 9.0 total tackles in Week 4 against Jacksonville. This season, the Storm defensive back leads the teams with a total of 23.0 tackles and one fumble recovery.

The next match-up to look out for is between Soul QB Dan Raudabaugh and Storm QB Jonathan Bane. So far this season, Raudabaugh has completed 106-of-151 passes for 1,325 yards and 32 touchdowns. He was awarded Under Armour Offensive Player of the Game this past weekend, completing 18-of-26 passes for 250 yards and six touchdowns. Bane, in his rookie season, has completed 33-of-63 passes for 407 yards, six touchdowns and two interceptions.

The Soul secondary will have to watch out for Storm WR Antoine "T.T." Toliver. Toliver leads the Storm receivers with 19 receptions for 281 yards and five touchdowns for the 2016 season. In Week 4 against Jacksonville, Toliver had a stand out performance and lead the receiving core with nine receptions for 148 yards and two touchdowns. Soul DB LaRico Stevenson recorded 2.5 tackles in Week 5 against the KISS. In the 2016 season, he is ranked second in the Soul defense with 23.0 total tackles, one tackle for loss, three pass break-ups, three passes defended and one forced fumble.

In Week 6, the Soul will host the Arizona Rattlers (5-0) on Monday, May 14 at 6:30 p.m. at the Wells Fargo Center. The game will be broadcast on CBS Sports and 97.5 The Fanatic.
