Captains Three-Game Home Stand Includes Buck Night, Charitable Donation Tuesday, and Education Day

(Eastlake, OH) - The Lake County Captains, the Class A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians, will begin a three-game home stand on Monday, May 9, when the West Michigan Whitecaps come to town for the quick three game series.

The popular Monday Buck Night will return this year and will feature $1 Five Star Brand Hot Dogs, soda and domestic draft beer. May 9 is the first of two buck nights for the month of May. After May 23, the Captains will not host another Buck Night until August 8. Gates open at 5:30 on Monday, and first pitch is at 6:30 PM.

Tuesday fans can support MedWish International with the Captains and receive a free Captains Ticket. Fans donating either two boxes of bandages or one antibiotic ointment will receive a free ticket to the Captains game on Tuesday, May 10. Founded in 1993, MedWish International is a not-for-profit organization that saves lives and the environment by repurposing discarded medical supplies and equipment to provide humanitarian aid in developing countries. First pitch on Tuesday is at 6:30, and the gates open at 5:30 PM.

Captains fans attending Wednesday's 11 AM day game will be treated to an "Education Day". The Captains will have in-game, educational lessons. Gates will open at 10 AM.
