Today's Game

Tonight, the Bisons take on the Syracuse Chiefs in the first game of a four-game series at Coca-Cola Field (6:05 p.m.). The Herd's homestand began with a 2-1 series loss to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Buffalo is now just 3-7 at home this season and an even .500 (8-8) on the road. The Bisons are 4-6 over their last 10 games.

Last Game (SWB 6, BUF 4)

The RailRiders scored solo runs in six innings for the 6-4 win over the Bisons. The game-winning run in the 8th came on a two-out single by CF Ben Gamel. INF Andy Burns and OF Jon Berti homered for the Herd, the team's first multi-homer game since April 26. RHP Chris Leroux set a Bisons' season-high with five innings of relief work.

vs. Syracuse (1-2)

The Bisons lost a three-game series at NBT Bank Stadium, April 12-13 that included a doubleheader split. Each team scored seven runs in the well-pitched series. There was just one home run hit in the three games combined, compliments of Syracuse's Jason Martinson.

Drew Hutchison

Despite making four starts for the Bisons already, RHP Drew Hutchison will make his 2016 Coca-Cola Field debut tonight. The righty is 0-1 with a 3.38 ERA in four road starts this year, including four hitless innings of work on April 13 in Syracuse. Hutchison struck out six over six innings in his last outing, a no-decision April 29 in Lehigh Valley.

Roster Moves

The Bisons have activated INF Matt Dominguez, who was optioned by Toronto on Wednesday. He had a loud eight-game hit streak with the Bisons (.484, 15-31) before his promotion to the Blue Jays on April 26. LHP Colt Hynes has also been promoted from Double-A New Hampshire for the second time this year. Hynes earned the win in his lone Bisons appearance this year, April 23 in Rochester. INF Jon Berti has been transferred back to the Fisher Cats.

David Adams

INF David Adams brings a seven-game hit streak into tonight's game. The infielder has averaged .444 (8-18) since April 24 with three doubles, five RBI and five walks. Adams has reached base safely in 15 of his 17 starts with the Bisons and has a .371 on-base pct. on the year.

Bisons Bits

INF Jesus Montero is tied for 2nd in the IL with 30 base hits. He has reached safely in 22 of his 25 games and drove in his 14th run of the season yesterday...OF Domonic Brown is tied for 4th in the International League in home runs (4) and tied for sixth in RBI (16)...INF Andy Burns is tied for 3rd in the IL with eight doubles.

Blue Jays Update

It's back-to-back walk-off wins for the Blue Jays (14-15) thanks to a 4-3 victory over the Rangers on Wednesday. C Russell Martin was the hero with his bases-loaded RBI-single in the 9th inning. DH Edwin Encarnacion hit his fourth home run of the year and former Bisons' RHP Aaron Sanchez struck out five in seven innings. Toronto hosts Texas tonight at 7:07 p.m.
