Johnny Panvica Commits to St. Thomas University (MIAC)

The Minnesota Magicians, proud members of the North American Hockey League (NAHL), are pleased to announce that forward Johnny Panvica has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey at St. Thomas University, which is part of the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC).

Panvica, 20, just completed his final season of playing junior hockey and first season playing a full season in the NAHL. The native of Bloomington, Minnesota, played in 58 regular season games for the Magicians and recorded 26 points (4 goals, 22 assists).

Prior to playing in the NAHL, Panvica (5'8/180) played the 2014-15 season for the NA3HL's North Iowa Bulls, leading his team in points and winning a USA Hockey Tier III Junior National Championship in 2015. During that season, Panvica was named to the All-NA3HL 2nd team and the NA3HL All-Rookie 1st team.

Overall, in his junior carrier, he played 111 games and recorded 107 points.
