American Hockey League Announces Suspensions

February 14, 2016 - American Hockey League (AHL) News Release


SPRINGFIELD, Mass. ... The American Hockey League today announced the following suspensions:

Grand Rapids Griffins left wing Tyler Bertuzzi has been suspended for one (1) game as a consequence of a cross-checking incident in a game at Iowa on Feb. 12.

Bertuzzi was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 28.1 (supplementary discipline). He will miss Grand Rapids' game today (Feb. 14) at Rockford.

Portland Pirates defenseman Sena Acolatse has been suspended for one (1) game as a consequence of a match penalty assessed in a game at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Feb. 13.

Acolatse will miss Portland's game today (Feb. 14) at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
