OHL Announces Disciplinary Action
February 13, 2016 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL) News Release
The Ontario Hockey League today announced the result of a review of an incident which took place in a game played in Niagara on the 6th of February, 2016, involving the IceDogs and the visiting North Bay Battalion.
The incident reviewed was a checking to the head infraction involving player Mike Baird of the North Bay Battalion Hockey Club.
Based on such review, it is the position of the League that player Mike Baird shall be suspended for ten (10) games effective immediately.
