Raptors 905's Scott Suggs Named as NBA Development League All-Star Game Replacement

TORONTO - Raptors 905 guard Scott Suggs will replace Erie's Keith Appling on the Eastern Conference team in the 2016 NBA Development League All-Star Game presented by Kumho Tire on Saturday, Feb. 13 at Ricoh Coliseum in Toronto. The 10th annual NBA D-League All-Star Game airs live on NBA TV and NBA TV Canada at 2 p.m. ET.

Suggs (6-6, 195, Washington) is averaging 16.3 points, 3.1 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 34.6 minutes in 32 games for the 905 this season. Suggs joins teammate Ronald Roberts, Jr. as members of the hometown Raptors playing on the Eastern Conference team in Toronto. He is also participating in the NBA D-League Three-Point Contest, which takes place prior to the All-Star Game. Appling sustained a sprained left thumb in the BayHawks game on Wednesday, Feb. 10.
