February 9, 2016 - Eastern League (EL1)
Reading Fightin Phils News Release

This season, the Reading Fightin Phils will be ringing in 50 Phillies Seasons, currently the longest affiliation in all of baseball, with a collection of golden bobblehead giveaways that will honor the greats who made America's Classic Ballpark one of the most popular landmarks in Minor League Baseball. Last week, the team released their 50 Phillies Seasons 50 Greatest Players after weeks of voting, and the most popular players from the fan vote were enshrined for the club's golden bobblehead giveaway nights in 2016.

Yesterday, the Fightins announced their slate of Golden Bobblehead giveaway games for adults. Today, we announce the special 50 Phillies Seasons Golden Bobbleheads, plated in gold color in celebration of the "Golden Season", for our giveaway games for kids.

In 2012, Baseballtown crowds came out in full force to support Darin Ruf in his quest to become the single-season home run record holder with 38 homers. Now, on June 28th, the Fightins will present a Golden Bobblehead thanks to BARTA of the slugger.

One of the top prospects in baseball heading into the 2016 season, J.P. Crawford will also now have a Golden Bobblehead in his likeness on July 24th thanks to Redner's Warehouse Markets. A member of the 2015 Fightins Eastern Division Champion team, Crawford's bobblehead will be the first of what's sure to be a remarkable career.

Crawford's 2015 teammate Aaron Nola will be featured with a Golden Bobblehead on August 17th thanks to Feesers. The 2014 first round pick of the Phillies added an unprecedented excitement upon his arrival later that season and he was the first of the famed starting rotation in 2015 that featured five of the Phillies' top 10 prospects.

In 2015, Maikel Franco gave Phillies fans something to get excited about when he became the first Phillies player in history to have back-to-back five RBI games. On August 28th, kids will be able to receive the Golden Bobblehead of the 2013 alum.
