Mill Rats Road Trip Continues Tonight in Moncton

(Moncton, NB): The Saint John Mill Rats five game road trip continues tonight at 7PM AST at the Moncton Coliseum. Tonight's game can viewed live on YouTube tonight by going to www.nblcanada.ca and click Watch Live.
The Mill Rats returned from Ontario having split games there with a thrilling 99-97 win in Niagara over the River Lions on Wednesday, followed by a 104-92 loss to the league-leading London Lightning on Thursday.
To make things more interesting, the Mill Rats were holed up in Ottawa last night after their flights were canceled to Moncton due to weather. The team arrived in Moncton this afternoon and will face the Miracles tonight as planned. The Miracles have beaten Saint John twice in a row for their first time ever. The last game went down to the wire at Harbour Station before Ty Beaty's halfcourt shot won it at the buzzer for Moncton.

Thursday night saw the return of Gabe Freeman to the Budweiser Gardens, but this time wearing the uniform of the opposing team. He receiving many cheers from the otherwise hostile home crowd.
The first quarter started with a 17-9 advantage for the Mill Rats as Freeman scored Saint John's first 7 points. But London reeled off a 14-3 run of their own to end the quarter leading 23-20.
The second quarter proved to the be the difference in the game as London kept up the pressure and won the quarter 30-19, good for a 53-39 halftime lead.
In the second half the Mill Rats got going and rallied to cut the deficit to within 7 points, but London was too strong down the stretch and held on for the 104-92 win.
Freeman led the Mill Rats in scoring with 23, Corey Allmond and Anthony Anderson had 15, and Ricky Volcy 12. Logan Stutz led Niagara with 25. Warren Ward led London with 24 points.
Saint John dropped to 9-6 while London improved to a league-leading 13-3.
After tonight's game against the Miracles, the Mill Rats end the road trip in Charlottetown against the Island Storm on Thursday, before returning home on February 18th against the Orangeville A's.
