Lumberjacks Add Christian Hausinger

Muskegon, MI - The Muskegon Lumberjacks have acquired defenseman Christian Hausinger from the Lincoln Stars in exchange for Lumberjacks defenseman Alex Green.

Hausinger is in his first season with the United States Hockey League. The Sacred Heart University commit has recorded a +8 rating and two assists in 20 games. Hausinger was the Lincoln Stars second round, 32nd overall pick of the 2015 USHL Phase 2 Entry Draft.

The Anchorage, Alaska native spent last season playing in Texas for the Odessa Jackalopes of the North Ameri- can Hockey League. He scored seven goals and notched 24 assists in 59 games.

The Lumberjacks (9-8-1) next game is Saturday, December 5th, when they host the U17 United States National Team Development Program. It will be the Lumberjacks Teddy Bear Toss game, so be sure to make it out to L.C. Walker for a fun filled Saturday night. The puck will drop at 7:15 pm.
