The Lum- berjacks were able to score one more time when Pitlick deflected a Nate Kallen shot past Phantoms goaltender Ryan Bednard for a Lumberjacks 2-1 lead.

The Phantoms started the second period on the attack and scored two goals 41 seconds apart, to give the Phan- toms a 3-2 lead. Lukas Craggs and former Lumberjacks player, Tyler Drevitch scored, and the Phantoms took the 3-2 lead into the locker room after 40 minutes of play.

The Phantoms came out in the third period and scored their third unanswered goal, when Detroit Red Wings prospect Chase Pearson knocked in a rebound, to give the Phantoms a 4-2 lead. The Lumberjacks would quickly respond, when veteran Robbie DeMontis received a pass from Hamilton, and fired a bullet in the back of the net to cut the deficit in half. The Phantoms would respond again with Morrison netting his second of the game to give the Phantoms a 5-3 lead.

Late in the third period, Pitlick scored his second of the game, and again cut the Lumberjacks deficit to one. Af- ter the Lumberjacks pulled goaltender Joey Daccord, Dante Palecco was able to tie the game 5-5, and force another overtime meeting between the Lumberjacks and Phantoms.
