Matt Mistele Traded to Sarnia

The Oshawa Generals announced on Tuesday that the team has traded left winger Matt Mistele to the Sarnia Sting in exchange for a 2nd round draft pick in 2016, a 3rd round draft pick in 2017 and a 3rd round draft pick in 2018.

"Matt was an incredible addition to our organization, last season he lead our team in playoff goals and helped us win a Memorial Cup," says Roger Hunt Vice President and General Manager of the Oshawa Generals. "He will always have a place in Oshawa Generals history. We would like to wish Matt all the best with the Sarnia Sting."

Matt Mistele was originally drafted in the 2011 OHL Priority Selection; he was taken in the 2nd round 33rd overall. On January 10th, 2015 Matt Mistele was traded from the Plymouth Whalers to the Generals. Mistele has collected eight goals and eight assists this season for sixteen points in nineteen games.
