ICE CHIPS: The KOOTENAY ICE enter this week's action with a 6-19-2-0 record (5-8-2-0 at home, 1-11-0-0 on the road, 3-2 in overtime, 0-0 in shootouts) and in sixth place in the CENTRAL DIVISION...KOOTENAY will embark on a season-long, five game B.C. DIVISION road trip beginning December 1 in KAMLOOPS.

OFFICE CLOSURE: The KOOTENAY ICE OFFICE will be closed Friday, December 4...The office will be open from 8:30 am - 12:00 pm and from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm Monday, November 30 through Thursday, December 3.

A&W TEDDY BEAR TOSS: The annual A&W TEDDY BEAR, TOQUE AND MITTEN TOSS will take place December 12 when the ICE host the SWIFT CURRENT BRONCOS...Fans in attendance are encouraged to bring new and unused toques, mittens and teddy bears to launch onto the ice after KOOTENAY scores their first goal...Proceeds will benefit the SALVATION ARMY.

2 FOR 1 TUESDAYS: KOOTENAY ICE 2 FOR 1 TUESDAYS are back!...At every Tuesday regular season home game, fans can enjoy 2 FOR 1 deals on walk-up tickets and select concession items from COYOTE JACK'S...The next 2 FOR 1 TUESDAY is December 15 when the ICE host the RED DEER REBELS.

ROSTER UPDATE: KOOTENAY is currently carrying 24 players (two goaltenders, eight defensemen and 14 forwards)...The ICE roster is made up of three 1995-born players, two 1996-born players, 11 1997-born players, seven 1998-born players and one 1999-born player...KOOTENAY has nine first-year players on its roster.

DID YOU KNOW: Goaltender WYATT HOFLIN moved into third place among franchise goaltending leaders in career saves (3,319) November 28 versus LETHBRIDGE, passing JEFF GLASS...HOFLIN is ranked fifth among all-time ICE goaltenders in games played (129) and minutes played (6,895)...Forward MATT ALFARO has scored in three of the last four games, with all three of his goals coming on special teams (two power-play, one short-handed)...ALFARO led the ICE in November scoring with six points (5-1-6)...Forward DYLAN STEWART is five appearances shy of 100 career games played...Former KOOTENAY captain SAM REINHART (BUFFALO SABRES) recorded his first career NHL multi-goal game November 28 at NASHVILLE...Three of the six goals tallied by REINHART this season have been game-winning goals.

TRANSACTIONS / INJURIES / SUSPENSION: The ICE acquired Forward JESSE ZAHARICHUK (April 1, 1997) from the KAMLOOPS BLAZERS November 29 for a fifth round pick in the 2018 WHL Bantam Draft...KOOTENAY also completed a trade with the PORTLAND WINTERHAWKS November 29, picking up Forwards AUSTIN GRAY (April 4, 1997) and REED MORISON (June 9, 1998) for a seventh round pick in the 2016 WHL Bantam Draft... Forward RIVER BEATTIE will be out of the ICE lineup day to day with an upper body injury...Forward ZAK ZBOROSKY will be out of the KOOTENAY lineup week to week with a lower body injury...Forward LUKE PHILP will be out of the ICE lineup indefinitely with a lower body injury...Forward JAEDON DESCHENEAU will be out of the KOOTENAY lineup indefinitely with an upper body injury...Defenseman TYLER KING will be out of the ICE lineup indefinitely with a lower body injury...Forward SHANE ALLAN has been suspended for four games after incurring a charging major and game misconduct November 21 versus SWIFT CURRENT.

ONE YEAR AGO: After 27 games of the 2014-15 season the ICE were 12-15-0-0, after 28 games 13-15-0-0 and after 29 games 14-15-0-0.
