Milwaukee, Wis. - Pontus Aberg's third period goal snapped a 1-1 tie 7:53 into the final frame, and Marek Mazenec made the lead stand up as the Admirals (13-5-1-0) earned their second straight 2-1 win over Rockford (12-5-1-2).

For the third straight game at the BMO Harris Bradley Center, the Admirals were able to collect the game's first goal. Vladislav Kamenev took a breakaway pass from Pontus Aberg and found the back of the net 7:29 into the first period.

The IceHogs responded when Dennis Rasmussen won an offensive zone face-off back to Viktor Svedberg, and then deflected a wrist shot from the big defenseman between the legs of Mazenec to even the score at 1-1 with 6:31 to go in the period.

After Rockford outshot Milwaukee 15-4 in the first, the Admirals turned the tables, holding Rockford to just two shots on goal in middle stanza while putting nine of their own on net. Mark Visentin was up to the challenge for the Hogs, keepting the game tied at 1-1 heading into the third.

Aberg snapped the tie when his initial shot was blocked by Jake Dowell, but he found the bouncing puck and fired it past Visentin to put the Admirals in front for good.
