Spokane, WA- The Tri-City Americans (10-16-1-0, 21 pts) looked to repeat last night and earn a comeback win, but the Spokane Chiefs (14-9-2-1, 31 pts) held off the Americans tonight, earning a 6-4 win in front of 7,536 fans at Spokane Arena on Saturday Night.

The Americans got on the board 45 seconds into the game, as Parker Bowles cleaned up a rebound, pushing Tri-City to a 1-0 lead. A minute later, Jaret Anderson-Dolan skated in on a breakaway and fired a wrist shot into the net to even the score at one. Late in the first, Ethan McIndoe shot the puck through traffic that found twine on the power play for a 2-1 lead after the first period.

Early in the second, Spokane's Curtis Miske tapped in a loose puck in front of the net to increase the advantage to 3-1. Tri-City scored a goal of their own 11 minutes into the period on the power play. Parker Wotherspoon skated into the zone and beat Tyson Verhelst high glove side with a wrist shot to cut the lead to 3-2 after 40 minutes.
