Ralston, NE - Thirteen different players recorded points including a hat trick for Josh French as the Omaha Lancers won their fourth-straight game with a 6-2 victory over the visiting Fargo Force on Saturday night at Ralston Arena.

A deflection in front of the net gave the Lancers a 1-0 lead in the opening period. Michael Bigelbach took the puck inside the blue line and looked for a lane to the net. As he let a shot go, Keegan Ward went to the hash marks in front of Force goaltender Ryan Wischow. Ward got his stick up waist-high and deflected the puck below Wischow for the lead, 10:41 into the game. The goal was Ward's first of the year assisted by Bigelbach and JC MacLean.

Early in the second period the Lancers took as 2-0 lead. William Fallstrom forced a turnover and moved to his right. At the hash marks, Fallstrom played the puck to Mitch Perrault who lifted it over a diving Ryan Wischow for his eighth of the year and a 2-0 lead 0:59 into the second period.

Josh French scored his first of the night on the power play after great passing by Brian Williams and Matt Meier. After setting up in the offensive zone, Williams sent a pass from the top of the left wing circle to Matt Meier. Meier tapped the puck to the low slot where French beat the goaltender for a 3-0 lead at 5:43 of the second period. Williams and Meier had the assists.

Fargo responded just 14-seconds later. After the Lancers took a three-goal lead, Zach Yon skated down the right side and took a wrist shot from inside the circle that beat Lancers' goaltender Kris Oldham over his right shoulder. The goal decreased Omaha's lead back to two goals, 3-1.

A great pass by Brannon McManus helped Josh French notch his second of the night and fifth of the year. Still in the second period, McManus tracked down a puck along the wall and sent a pass to French who beat Ryan Wischow by the right leg pad from the right wing circle. The goal gave the Lancers a 4-1 advantage at the 7:27 mark of the period with McManus and Nick Rivera getting the helpers.

Michael Joyaux scored his first of the year and first with the Lancers on a shot from inside the right point. Joyaux ripped a shot through traffic that beat Ryan Wischow to give Omaha a 5-1 lead at 8:01. The only assist was given to defenseman Jake Massie, his first point of the season. Following Joyaux's goal, Robbie Beydoun replaced Wischow in net for Fargo.

After Hugo Reinhardt scored his first goal for Fargo in the third period, Josh French capped off his hat trick with an empty-net, short-handed goal with only 1:56 to go in the game. Matt Meier had the lone assist. Goaltender Kris Oldham won his eighth of the year stopping 22 of 24 shots he faced.
