MEDICINE HAT, AB - The Rebels had six different goal scorers in a 6-4 win Friday in Medicine Hat. The Rebels have now won their last two in a row.

The Tigers opened the scoring less than two minutes into the game with a goal by Cole Sanford. The Rebels came back with a power play goal by Brandon Hagel, then an even strength marker just 46 seconds later from Austin Strand. The Rebels had a 2-1 lead after one period.

In the second frame, the Rebels made it 3-1 on a power play goal by Presten Kopeck. They increased their lead to 4-1 when Grayson Pawlenchuk put one in. The Tigers got one back on another goal by Sanford. It was 4-2 for Red Deer after two periods.

In the third period, the Rebels jumped out to a 6-2 lead after goals by Haydn Fleury and Conner Bleackley. The Tigers responded with two late goals, Max Gerlach on the power play and Brad Forrest even strength. The game ended 6-4 for Red Deer.

Rylan Toth made 30 saves in the Rebels net; Mack Shields made 36 saves for the Tigers.

The Rebels were 2 for 6 on the power play; the Tigers were 1 for 4.

The Rebels are back at home Saturday night when they host the Regina Pats for a 7:00PM game at the ENMAX Centrium. The broadcast on 106.7 The Drive begins at 6:30PM.
