SOUTHAVEN, Miss. - The Mississippi RiverKings announced today that they have signed goaltender Dalton McGrath prior to their contest tonight against Knoxville. Terms and conditions were not released.

McGrath, 24, is a second-year professional after completing a two-year college career at Brock University (OUAA). The Brampton, Ontario native split time last season between the Steel City Warriors (FHL) and ECHL Brampton. This year, the 6-foot-1, 185 netminder is 2-1-0 with a 1.35 goals against average and a 96.2 save percentage in three games with FHL Danville.

The RiverKings also signed rookie defenseman Travis Howe to a three-game tryout contract.

The RiverKings return home on Saturday night, November 28 to face the Ice Bears once again for the annual Teddy Bear Toss benefiting Toys for Tots. Fans are encouraged to bring a new, plush toy to throw onto the ice when the RiverKings score their first goal. If the RiverKings collect over 2,000 bears, all fans in attendance will receive a free ticket to a December or January home game.
