Tigers Teddy Bear Toss Returns
November 25, 2015 - Western Hockey League (WHL)
Medicine Hat Tigers News Release
Medicine Hat, AB -- Everyone's favorite holiday event is back again this year. The Medicine Hat News and the Tigers are proud to present our annual Teddy Bear Toss game on Saturday, December 12th when the Tigers take on the Edmonton Oil Kings at the Canalta Centre! The night will mark the first in our new home.
Past seasons' Teddy Bear Tosses have been a blast and helped collect donations for the Salvation Army, Medicine Hat Womens' Shelter and the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital.
Fans are encouraged to bring stuffed animals or winter gear (toques, gloves, mitts, socks, etc.) to the game. When the Tigers score their first goal, everyone will toss their items onto the ice! Please ensure that all items are bagged to keep moisture out and for easy pickup by those on the playing surface.
Fans are also encouraged to bring a food donation to the game. These donations will help feed those less fortunate at this time of year. Food donations will be collected in the main entrance on the concourse.
So on Saturday, December 12th make sure to bring your holiday cheer and generosity with you to the Tigers game vs Edmonton...see you at the Canalta Centre.
Tickets can be purchased at ticketmaster.ca or by calling 1-855-985-5000 or by coming down to the Canalta Centre 10am-4pm on regular business days!!
