ELMIRA, NY - November 25, 2015 - The Elmira Jackals, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Buffalo Sabres and the AHL's Rochester Americans, head north to Glens Falls, N.Y. today for a pre-Thanksgiving meeting with the Adirondack Thunder.

MAGNIFYING THE MATCHUP
The Jackals Thanksgiving holiday will be sandwiched around a home-and-home set with the Adirondack Thunder. Tonight, the Jackals will pay their first ever visit to the Glens Falls Civic Center and put their three-game winning streak on the line against the East Division-leading Thunder. Elmira and Adirondack met once previously this season on Opening Night as their rivalry, stretching back to the United Hockey League days, was renewed. The Thunder struck first and capitalized twice on the power-play, eventually stretching their lead to four before Scott Jacklin scored his first professional goal in the third period. Chris Langkow and Mike Seidel also recorded a point in the 4-1 loss. Tonight's matchup marks the second of 11 meetings this season and the first of five in Glens Falls.
