SPHL Announces Suspensions

HUNTERSVILLE, NC - The Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) today announced the following suspensions:
Louisiana's Anthony Pisano
Louisiana's Anthony Pisano has been suspended four games for his actions in Game 42, Louisiana at Peoria, played on Saturday, November 21.
At the 19:45 mark of the third period, Pisano was assessed a major penalty for fighting and a match penalty for attempt to injure.
Pisano sat out Louisiana's game against Peoria on November 22 and will miss games against Pensacola (November 26), Columbus (November 27) and Huntsville (November 28).
Louisiana's Tyler Barr
Louisiana's Tyler Barr has been suspended two games for his actions in Game 42, Louisiana at Peoria, played on Saturday, November 21.
At the 19:45 mark of the third period, Barr was assessed a minor penalty for cross-checking and a major penalty for fighting. Per SPHL rules, Barr is considered a repeat offender having previously been suspended for instigating an altercation in the last five minutes of a game.
Barr sat out Louisiana's game against Peoria on November 22 and will miss the IceGators' game against Pensacola on November 26.
Louisiana's Drew Omicioli
Louisiana Head Coach Drew Omicioli has been suspended one game and fined an undisclosed amount for his team's actions in Game 42, Louisiana at Peoria, played on Saturday, November 21.
Omicioli missed Louisiana's game against Peoria on November 22.
Peoria's Adam Stuart
Peoria's Adam Stuart has been suspended one game for his actions in Game 42, Louisiana at Peoria, played on Saturday, November 21.
During an altercation at the 19:45 mark of the third period, Stuart threw multiple water bottles into the Louisiana bench.
Stuart sat out Peoria's game against Louisiana on November 22.
Peoria's Luke Sandler
Peoria's Luke Sandler has been suspended two games for his actions in Game 43, Louisiana at Peoria, played on Sunday, November 22.
At the 4:13 mark of the third period, Sandler was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for boarding.
Sandler will miss Peoria's games against Macon on November 27 and 28.
