Huska Named CCM Goaltender of the Week

Today the USHL announced goaltender Adam Huska has been named CCM USHL Goaltender of the Week.

Despite losing his first game in his last four starts, Huska stopped a combined 88 shots over three games this week. The New York Rangers prospect has allowed one goal or fewer in six of his 12 starts this season. The Zvolen, SVK native ranks first in goals against average (1.92), first in save percentage (.934), second in wins (8) and fifth in saves (313) amongst his USHL goaltending peers. In his last ten starts, Huska has won eight games, including a shutout, and has a 1.58 GAA and .948 SV% in net. Huska was the 184th player selected in the NHL Draft, a seventh round selection by the New York Rangers. Huska is one of eight NHL goaltending prospects playing in the USHL this season. Huska has previously played for the Slovakia U18 (WJC) and HKM Zvolen prior to joining the Gamblers last season.
