Atlanta Dream Winter Clothing Drive to Benefit Atlanta Children's Shelter

ATLANTA - The Atlanta Dream has partnered with the H.E.R. Foundation and RMC Movers for a Winter Wear Drive that will benefit the Atlanta Children's Shelter.
RMC Movers is sponsoring the Winter Wear Drive and will host a collection event on Monday, Nov. 30 from 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. at the Residences on McGinnis Ferry Apartment Complex (4021 McGinnis Ferry Rd, Suwanee, GA 30024).
Items will also be collected from Nov. 30 - Dec. 14 at the Atlanta Dream offices which are located in downtown Atlanta at Centennial Place Towers (101 Marietta Street NW, Atlanta, Georgia 30303).
Items that are encouraged for donation include new blankets, hats, scarves, gloves and coats. Baby and toddler clothing will be especially appreciated.
"We're excited to be partnering with the Atlanta Dream for the Atlanta Children's Shelter Drive and fulfilling our dream of reaching women one crown at a time," Zakiyrah Ficklin Co-Founder of the H.E.R. Foundation said.
The Winter Clothing Drive will culminate with a special event on Wednesday, Dec. 16 hosted by the Atlanta Dream. Dream staff will hold a holiday party at the Atlanta Children's Shelter and provide donated items to residents.
"Thankfully Atlanta Dream partners like RMC Movers make it possible for us to continue impacting the community and making a difference in the lives of women and children," Octavia Samuels, Atlanta Dream Manager of Corporate Partnerships and Activation said.
