Stars to Take on Youngstown in Two-Game Series

The Lincoln Stars (12-4-0) are set to take on the Youngstown Phantoms (7-6-1) for a two-game weekend series at the Ice Box. The games are scheduled for Friday at 7:05 p.m. and Saturday at 7:05 p.m. The two-game series will mark the only meetings between the teams this season.
The Stars have gone 7-3-0 in their last ten games and are atop the USHL standings with 24 points. Omaha sits behind the Stars in the Western Conference standings with 20 points.

Last Weekend
Friday vs. Tri-City
In front of the largest crowd of the season, the Stars rolled to a 4-0 victory against the Storm. Patrick Polino, Jack Badini, Will D'Orsi and Christian Evers scored for the Stars while Peyton Jones made 24 saves in his third shutout of the season.
Saturday vs. Waterloo
The Stars fell 3-2 in Waterloo despite getting goals from Adam Brady and Patrick Polino, along with a 33 save performance from goaltender Patrik Virtanen.
Posting Points - Ludvig Hoff is second in the USHL with 19 points. Sioux Falls forward Parker Tuomie leads the league with 20 points.
Scouting Youngstown - The Phantoms have won two of their last five games after splitting a series with Chicago last weekend. Youngstown sits fifth in the Eastern Conference with 15 points and is led by Yushiroh Hirano, who has ten goals and five assists.
