EL PASO - November 19, 2015 -The El Paso Chihuahuas and the El Paso Fire Department present "Paws for Presents" for the second year, a holiday toy drive assisting Operation Santa, a Fort Bliss-based charity.

The drive begins today, Thursday, November 19th and continues through Saturday, December 19th. The Chihuahuas and Fire Department request all gifts be new and not gift wrapped for children up to the age of 13. Monetary donations are also welcomed with checks made payable to Operation Santa.

Donations can be dropped off at any of the 34 El Paso neighborhood fire stations or the Chihuahuas Team Shop located at 1 Ballpark Plaza on Durango St. The Team Shop is open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sundays 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

"It's a privilege for the Chihuahuas to team up with our local fire department and Operation Santa to provide gifts for kids this time of year," said Brad Taylor, El Paso Chihuahuas general manager.

The Chihuahuas Volunteer Pack presented by Helen of Troy will assist in the cleaning and sorting of the Operation Santa headquarters on November 25th from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and also help with the distribution of Operation Santa's toys on November 28th from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. To join the Chihuahuas Volunteer Pack presented by Helen of Troy, visit EPChihuahuas.com or call (915) 533-BASE.
