ON THE SCORESHEET

- Brendan Leipsic scored the overtime winner, his second goal of the season.

- William Nylander collected an assist on the goal and has now hit the 20 point mark and tied himself for the lead in AHL scoring. Personally he now maintains an eight game point streak where he has recorded 14 points.

- Mark Arcobello also collected an assist on the game winner and extended his point streak to seven games. He has 11 points over that streak. He also has a 22 game AHL point streak, dating back to 2014. He has 39 points over that stretch.

- Garret Sparks made 23 saves earning his second shutout of the season. Sparks improves to 7-2-1-0 on the season.

NOTABLES

- The Marlies have now won six of their seven games that have required extra time.

- This was the last of seven road games for the Marlies. The team returns home to face the Americans this Saturday at Ricoh Coliseum. Puck drop is at 5:00 P.M.
