Falcons Loan Beskorowany to Norfolk

Springfield, MA - The Springfield Falcons announced today that the team has loaned goaltender Tyler Beskorowany to the Norfolk Admirals of the ECHL.

The 25-year-old Beskorowany started in two games with the Falcons this season going 0-2-0 with a 3.55 goals against average (GAA) and a .885 save percentage. The 6-foot-5, 205-pound native of Sudbury, ON has played in 65 career AHL games with the Falcons, the St. John's IceCaps and the Texas Stars. Beskorowany was drafted by the Dallas Stars in the second round (59th overall) in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.

The Falcons play the Albany Devils this Friday at The Times Union Center at 7 p.m. On Saturday, Springfield hosts the Providence Bruins at 7 p.m. for Youth Football Night. Pat Patriot and the Patriots Cheerleaders will be in attendance for photographs and autograph opportunities for all fans. Next weekend concludes with a 5 p.m. contest in Bridgeport against the Sound Tigers. All games can be heard live on NewsRadio560 WHYN.
