The Major Arena Soccer League announced on Wednesday that Baltimore Blast defender Pat Healey has been named to the MASL Team of the Week for the first time this season.

The Blast defense, led by Healey, shutout the Syracuse Silver Knights in Baltimore last weekend. Healey contributed 2 assists and added a block on the night. Healey, who was the 2014-15 MASL Defender of the year, looks to build off his fast start this weekend when the Blast host the Waza Flo.

William Vanzela, who recorded 6 saves and the shutout, was listed as an honorable mention.

Healey and the Blast look to build off their second victory of the season this weekend when they host the Waza Flo in an Eastern division matchup. The game is Saturday, November 21st at the Royal Farms Arena at 7:35 p.m. Saturday will also be $1 Hot Dog Night and include a free postgame concert by local country rock band, Marshall Law.
