2016 Silver Knights Schedule Released

Nashua, NH - The Nashua Silver Knights are pleased to announce their 2016 schedule. The Silver Knights will open up on the road against the Seacoast Mavericks on Wednesday, June 1st and will open up at home against the North Shore Navigators on Friday, June 3rd at Holman Stadium at 6:45p.m. with postgame fireworks.

The 2016 schedule consists of four Tuesday games, four Wednesday games, five Thursday games, five Friday games, five Saturday games, and five Sunday games, totaling 28 home games.

The Silver Knights will also play their annual exhibition game against the Lowell Spinners on Thursday, June 16th at LeLacheur Park in Lowell, MA.

Other highlights in the schedule are Education Day on Tuesday, June 7th at 11 a.m. and the Futures Collegiate Baseball League All-Star game which will take place at the home of the Worcester Bravehearts on Wednesday, July 13th.

The FCBL Playoffs will start immediately following the conclusion of the regular season. This year's playoff format has the top six teams making the playoffs. The two division winners will receive first round byes. The first round will be one game elimination with the No. 3 seed playing the No. 6 seed and the No. 4 seed playing the No. 5 seed. The second round will be a best-of-three series with the higher seed electing to play game one at home or games two and three at home. The winners of the second round will go on to the Championship Series with the same format as the prior round.
