Falcons Recall O'Donoghue from Rapid City

Springfield, MA - The Springfield Falcons announced today that the team has recalled forward Dan O'Donoghue from the Rapid City Rush, the club's ECHL affiliate.
The 24-year-old O'Donoghue has registered 5-3-8 and eight penalty minutes (PIM) in 11 games with the Rush this season. The 6-foot-5, 206-pound native of Port Jefferson, NY has played in 19 career AHL games with the Portland Pirates.
The Falcons play the Albany Devils this Friday at The Times Union Center at 7 p.m. On Saturday, Springfield hosts the Providence Bruins at 7 p.m. for Youth Football Night. Pat Patriot and the Patriots Cheerleaders will be in attendance for photographs and autograph opportunities for all fans. Next weekend concludes with a 5 p.m. contest in Bridgeport against the Sound Tigers. All games can be heard live on NewsRadio560 WHYN.
